Bachelor of Science in Accounting

Bachelor of Science in Accounting Programme provides two specialization, Professional Accountancy, and Accounting and Information Management. The specializations emphasize on the training of the Accounting profession, and have a balanced-emphasis on knowledge and practice of Accounting and Information Systems (IS) respectively.

The Professional Accountancy provides solid Accounting professional background for students including principles that guide to the current practice in the Accounting profession and practice of public accounting, financial reporting, auditing, tax and internal accounting issues. The Accounting and Information Management focuses on providing students with subject-specific and transferable skills to supply professionals to the sector of business and advisory services with skills to handle the management of information, knowledge to propose IT-related solutions for better decision-making and control purposes in the enterprises.

We have a strong team of academic staff with multicultural background, professional qualification and sophisticated teaching experience. Over 70% of them are professors with doctoral degrees from Australia, Hong Kong, Korea, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the United States, and so on. Besides, there are part-time instructors who are practicing accountants and auditors from the industry.

The graduates are awarded the maximum number of paper exemption by Certified Practising Accountants of Australia (CPA Australia) and partial papers exemption from Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

What is Professional Accountancy (PAC)?

PAC can be defined as the study of accounting in relation to the requirements of the statutory and examination bodies of the accounting profession.
