On the global landscape of leisure tourism, integrated resorts are emerging as a vibrant engine of growth. In March 2019, we established the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management (DRTM), dedicating ourselves to laying the educational and research cornerstone for this flourishing sector. We are young, yet firmly anchored at the industry’s core; we are innovative, with a deep commitment to practical application.
As one of the few higher education institutions in Asia, and indeed the world, specializing in integrated resort management, our Department is committed to addressing the talent gap in the high-end hospitality and leisure tourism sectors. Through a multi-tiered, interdisciplinary education system, we cultivate future leaders with global vision, strategic thinking, and exceptional operational capabilities, providing the intellectual capital to drive the sustainable growth of the integrated resort industry.
We offer a comprehensive and continuous educational pathway:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree Programme of International Integrated Resort Management: An undergraduate program that blends theory with real-world practice to build a solid management foundation.
- Master of Science (MSc) Degree Programme of International Integrated Resort Management: A postgraduate program that deepens expertise, focusing on critical industry challenges and innovative strategies.
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree Programme: With specializations in Hospitality Management and Gaming Management, this program cultivates top-tier academic and research talent.
Macao, as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure, serves as our largest classroom and laboratory. Here, integrated resorts are not merely the industry’s core but dynamic ecosystems converging hospitality, entertainment, MICE, and leisure. OUR PROGRAMMES
We offer a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Integrated Resort Management, a Master of Science (MSc) in International Integrated Resort Management, and a Doctoral of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration with specialization in Hospitality and Gaming Management. Our BSc in International Integrated Resort Management is a 4-year undergraduate degree program. Students can choose to major in either Gaming Management (GM) or Convention and Hospitality Management (CHM). Our MSc in International Integrated Resort Management is a 2-year master degree programme. Students must complete a project report as part of the degree requirement.
