UMSU Finance Society successfully held a talk as part of their Finance Week series on April 19th, with the strong support of the Faculty of Business Administration. The event invited Associate Professor in Business Economics Yang Zhang and Assistant Professor in Finance Zhenjiang Qin as guest speakers, who delivered excellent speeches and shared their insights with the students.

During the talk, Professors Zhang and Qin explained the current economic environment in simple terms, discussing the chain reaction of the Ukraine conflict and the continuing negative factors caused by high inflation and rising interest rates. They also shared practical investment concepts and methods, including investment objectives, characteristics of investment tools, and their usage and effects.

Through this event, students had the opportunity to interact with the professors and ask questions, not only gaining knowledge about the economic environment and financial investment but also expanding their interests and expertise in the finance and business fields.

The Finance Association will continue to hold more similar events, providing more learning opportunities and platforms for students. Meanwhile, the financial society also appreciates the strong support of the Faculty of Business Administration for the event and looks forward to continued cooperation in providing high-quality learning resources and services for students.
