In the unprecedented academic year 2019/2020, FBA worked closely with community and industry and made contributions in social, cultural, and economic aspects. Over the year, FBA has organized 11 executive development programs, which are more than double of the programs in previous year. The programs help increase the competitiveness of management in finance and integrated resort industries. Although facing the pandemic since early 2020, FBA has not ceased its interactions with community and industry. FBA pursued social responsibility by delivering free online training to practitioners and SME employees who were equipped with implications about coping with difficulties during pandemic.

FBA co-organized exhibition, forum, round-table discussion, seminars and other events with industry and NGOs, including Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Galaxy Entertainment Group, Melco Resorts & Entertainment, MGM Grand Paradise, SJM, Venetian, Wynn, CPA Australia, Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association, Macau Marketing Institute, etc. FBA also provided consultancy service for government and corporations. The past year recorded 12 projects (increased by 20%).

FBA’s Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming (ISCG) has been actively promoting the development of responsible gaming. As of previous years, ISCG co-organized a series of activities with other gaming stakeholders in 2019/2020; for maintaining the healthy development of gaming industry. On the other hand, faculty members frequently shared their professional commentary and opinions on international and local media, while suggestions on resolving the problems of community and corporations were offered. Looking forward to the academic year of 2020/2021, FBA will continue its contributions to the society through its professional excellence and role of hub to connect various stakeholders.
