The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) has broad categories of foundational investigation projects and is a national foundation for natural science researchers. Prof. Lin will share her experiences based on her two successful applications for the NSFC. She will discuss topic selection, project justification, the writing of the research proposal, and other important issues in fund applications.

Short Bio

Prof. Meizhen LIN is a Professor at the College of Tourism of Huaqiao University. She was rewarded as a Tourism Young Expert of the National Tourism Administration (2013), and a High-Level Talent of Fujian Province. Her major research areas include empowering leadership and employee work stress management. Prof. LIN has led two NSFC projects and one MOE (Ministry of Education) Foundation on Humanities and Social Science project. She has published in top-tier business and tourism journals including Journal of Service Research, Journal of Business Ethics, Tourism Management, and International Journal of Hospitality Management. Prof. LIN currently serves as an editorial board member of Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research.
