During 25th to 28th April, the University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) organized “Study Trip Group Report Workshop” in Macao and Zhuhai for a total of 29 students of Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme.

The four-day workshop includes both online and on-site learning. Professors from Fudan University, and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics were invited as guests to share with students topics regarding “Combining history and internet: Forging valued cultural Intellectual Property”, “Enacting Rituals to Improve Self-Control: Young Consumers in China” and “Market Transition and Emerging Consumers in China” online, respectively.

Site-visits to well-known enterprises and organizations in Macao and Zhuhai  deepened students’ knowledge in a practical way. In Macao, the group visited MGM COTAI, Macao Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre, Melco Resorts and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Macau) (Main Branch, Private Banking); In Zhuhai, the group visited Huafa Mall and “Readzone” Bookstore of Zhuhai Huafa Group Co. Ltd.,  Zhuhai Beishan Dayuan, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Modern Agriculture Demonstration Zone, Zhuhai UM Science & Technology Research Institute and NanometaIs Technology Co.,Ltd.

During the industrial visits, the EMBA students were excited to understand business environment and operation  through  in-depth conversations with the senior executives who, on the other hand, expressed interest and were looking forward to cooperating with UM in the EMBA programme.

Professor Matthew LIU Ting-Chi, Coordinator of Executive Education Office at FBA & Director of Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), and Ms. Triss Yongxin LIANG, administrative staff of Executive Education Office were in the group, leading and organizing the entire four-day workshop.
