UM FBA AIM Research Day 2023
On Oct. 18, 2023, the Department of Accounting and Information Management of FBA successfully held a Research Day.
Prof. Jason XIAO(蕭澤忠教授) gave the opening remark to express a warm welcome to the two keynote speakers, paper presenters and the participants. He particularly expressed his gratitude to Professor Charlie SOHN for his effort in organizing the event, assisted by Professors Duncan LIU, Qian WANG and Yifan Jiao. He considered the Research Day a great platform for AIM colleagues and PhD students to exchange their research ideas and findings, as well as to explore further collaborations. Professors Charlie SOHN and Prof. Zhaotong LIAN(練肇通教授) then hosted the parallel sessions for Accounting and Business Intelligence and Data Analytics (BIDA).
Prof. Albert TSANG (曾曉亮教授) Chair Professor of Accounting of the SUSTech Business School and Prof. Ben NIU (牛奔教授), Professor of College of Management of Shenzhen University delivered the keynote speeches in their respective areas.

There were many interesting, challenging and helpful questions and comments from the audience. The presenters appreciated these comments and suggestions which would help them improve their papers, and the audience learned a lot from the current topics in accounting and BIDA from the presenters.
