On April 16, students and professors of the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management were invited to the Grand Lisboa Ballroom to participate in the “Curating Luxury Experience in Hospitality” educational seminar co-organized by the SJM Resorts and Forbes Travel Guide. Hermann Elger, CEO of Forbes Travel Guide, and some professional instructors were invited to share their knowledge of the world’s top customer service with the students. The opening ceremony was hosted by a group of notable figures, including Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO), Daisy Ho, Managing Director of SJM Resorts, Hermann Elger, CEO of Forbes Travel Guide, Benjamin Toh, Chief Operating Officer of SJM Resorts, and Daniel Shim, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of SJM Resorts. The event attracted approximately 380 students from 15 tertiary and secondary schools in Macau and Guangdong to gain a deeper understanding of the hospitality industry and international luxury hotel standards.
