The Responsible Gambling 2015, co-organised by the University of Macau (UM) Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming, the Social Welfare Bureau, and the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, has ended. The programme aimed to raise Macao residents’ awareness of problem gambling. A gaming knowledge competition was held on the day of the closing ceremony. Since its launch in 2009, the programme has received support from the Macao SAR government, the gaming industry, social service organisations, and educational institutions.
