The panel assessment was part of the total marks for the group written project. The topic was on ‘Sustainable MICE events in Macao. An inevitable process, or something for Macao to prioritise?

Huge thanks to the executive panel of Mr. Gene Capuano, Senior Vice President of Conventions, Event Development & Venetian Operations; Ms. Meridith Beaujean, Director of Sustainability, Venetian; Mr. Jose Pinto, Executive Director of Human Resources, Venetian; and Mr. Ben Goldsworthy, Assistant Director – Audio Visual, Wynn Palace.

Well done to all the students for their confident and very insightful presentations and strategy considerations in a highly relevant area of sustainable tourism and in particular the MICE (Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conventions, Exhibitions) sector – and for answering all the Q&A so well from the industry experts.

Keeping the MSc in IIRM industry relevant and maintaining this bridge between classroom learning and practical needs to industry are key features and aims of the post graduate programme.
