On March 6, Prof. Amy Siu Ian So and Prof. Soey Sut Ieng Lei of the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management (IRTM) organized the third lunch gathering with freshmen students this year. Prof. Anthony Ip Kin Wong and Prof. Lawrence Hoc Nang Fong were invited to discuss with students on how to build and manage a personal branding, and the importance of personal image in the workplace. This is a topic that is rarely discussed in the classroom and deserves more attention from the students.
Prof. Wong and Prof. Fong also shared some of their interesting experiences in participating in social activities and building up their networks, encouraging students to participate more actively in various activities and expand their social networks, so as to be well-prepared for their future internships and job opportunities.
