FBA Salon Series on Tourism+: “Reflections on Applications for National Social Science Foundation of China” was hosted by Prof. Faye Feier CHEN, Assistant Professor of the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management on November 29, 2023 and Prof. Ting JIANG, Associate Professor of the Department of Hotel Management at Jinan University, was invited to deliver the seminar.
Prof. Ting JIANG is an Associate Professor of Hotel Management at the University of Jinan. As an experienced scholar and researcher, she has been awarded the National Social Science Foundation (NSSF) twice and has made outstanding contributions in her professional field. In the lecture, Prof. Ting JIANG first introduced the background and importance of NSSF, emphasizing the academic qualities and abilities required of applicants. In addition, she shared her experience and strategies in the application process, encouraging scholars to choose research directions of originality and importance, and to emphasize the fit with the country’s development needs. Prof. Ting JIANG also gave tips on how to write an application letter and develop a research plan, as well as some practical advice for potential applicants.
