Abstract
In this seminar, I will briefly review the development of tourism research in China. Specifically, I will analyse the development trends of topics and methods/methodological applications in tourism research in China. Holding an international perspective, I will discuss both the challenges and opportunities of tourism research in China. I hope this seminar provides useful information for tourism PhD scholars and early career researchers to better understand the field of tourism research and thus develop their own personal strategies for career development.
