FBA Outstanding Teaching Award – Prof. Davis Ka Chio FONG
Prof. Davis Ka Chio FONG is a Professor of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management at the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management. Teaching at the undergraduate level, master’s level and doctorate level, he has guaranteed the best SFQ outcome for this academic year. He also sets an example for commitment in students’ experiential learning outside the classroom by leading the study missions to Las Vegas years after years.
FBA Outstanding Research Awards – Prof. Qian WANG, Prof. Anthony Ip Kin WONG, Prof. Yi DING, Prof. Cheris Wing Chi CHOW
From different departments of FBA, Prof. Qian WANG, Prof. Anthony Ip Kin WONG, Prof. Yi DING and Prof. Cheris Wing Chi CHOW demonstrated their research excellence and received the FBA Outstanding Research Awards.
Prof. Qian WANG is an Assistant Professor of Business Intelligence and Analytics at the Department of Accounting and Information Management. Since joining in 2022, her publications in top-notch venues such as Journal of Operations Management (UTD24, FT50, ABS4*) and Production and Operations Management (UTD24, FT50, ABS4*) have enabled Prof. Wang to receive such remarkable achievements.
Prof. Anthony Ip Kin WONG is a Professor of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management at the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management. As an established scholar, Prof. Wong published in highly regarded journals such as Annals of Tourism Research, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Travel Research, Tourism Management, which are deemed among the most renowned journals as identified by the Department.
Prof. Yi DING is an Assistant Professor of Business Economics at the Department of Finance and Business Economics at FBA. After joining FBA in 2022, Prof. Ding has accumulated brilliant research achievements in statistics and economics by publishing in the reputable Annals of Statistics (ABS4*), Journal of Econometrics (ABS4), etc.
Prof. Cheris Wing Chi CHOW is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Department of Management and Marketing. For the period, she has gained a very fruitful publication record including Journal of Applied Psychology (ABS4*, FT50), Journal of Service Research (ABS4), etc. covering not only her core research areas such as service marketing, consumer behavior but also cross-discipline in organizational behavior research.
FBA Outstanding Internal Service Award – Prof. Endong YANG
As an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Department of Finance and Business Economics, Prof. Endong YANG has demonstrated exceptional dedication and service through a variety of impactful roles and contributions, such as organizing a number of seminars from international scholars, serving on the local organizing committee of the Asian Finance Association Annual Conference 2024, which is one of the most influential finance academic conferences in the Asia-Pacific region.
FBA Outstanding External Service Award – Prof. Liwen ZHANG
Prof. Liwen ZHANG is an Assistant Professor of Management at the Department of Management and Marketing. For local community, Prof. Zhang collaborates with and serve for SMEs as a speaker and works with experienced entrepreneurs to share valuable practical insights with undergraduate and graduate students. She also passionately contributes to her profession as an award committee chair, an active ad-hoc reviewer for conferences and quality journals, etc.
FBA Excellent Administrative Staff Recognition Scheme – Ms. Kelmen Hio Man YEUNG
Besides serving as the Liaison to Master of Science in Finance Programme, Ms. Kelmen Hio Man YEUNG manages PhD assistantship and other stipends for the faculty. In addition, she organizes and coordinates department-level and faculty-level events along the years such as Asian Finance Association Annual Conference 2024 and FBA Session of UM Global Academic Symposium.
