The accreditation shows recognition of the FBA’s pursuit of continuous improvement in teaching and research as well as its calibre as a leading business   school in the world. • The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) of the University of Macau (UM) has officially received the EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). EQUIS is the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. Institutions that are accredited by EQUIS must demonstrate not only high general quality in areas such as management, teaching, and research, but also a high degree of internationalisation.

The FBA is the first and the only business school in Macao to have received accreditations from the three major international accreditation bodies: EQUIS in the European Union, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in the United States, and the Association of MBAs (AMBA) in the United Kingdom. As of June 2023, there are 124 triple-accredited business schools in the world.
