Co-organized by the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Macau and the Bank of China, Macao Branch, the“Our Bank” Design Contest is now opened for registration!
1. Organizers:
Bank of China, Macau Branch (“BOC”)
Faculty of Business Administration, University of Macau (“UM”)
2. Objectives:
To deepen the cooperation between BOC and UM, BOC cordially invite students of UM to design the main theme of the sub-branch located in the Hengqin campus of UM soon. By doing so, we wish to present a modern and innovative banking concept and, on the other hand, to embody the idea of making this branch a laboratory of banking related courses for the students.
3. Theme:
“Our Bank” – a concept to build a sub-branch in harmony with the campus atmosphere of UM and be an indivisible part of the campus for the students and the staff members; meanwhile, the design of the branch should match the image of UM as an institution of higher education and scientific studies, and embody the ideas of intellectualization, modernization, globalization and eco-friendliness.
4. Eligibility:
Full time students of UM, as an individual or a team.
5. Proposal Requirements:
The graphic design must base on the floor plan of the University Mall at our new campus as attached. If possible, please submit your proposal in 3D animation with appropriate specifications and descriptions in Chinese or English.
6. Submission of Proposal
All proposals should be sealed in an A4 envelope, appended with a self-introduction letter, and submitted to the office of the Faculty of Business Administration (Luso-Chinese Building, Rm L408) before the Submission Deadline. A soft copy of the proposal should be sent to MICHELLEKUAN@UMAC.MO.

8. Submission Deadline:
17:00, December 2, 2013 (Based on the official chop affixed by the organizer.)
9. Selection of Winning Proposal
All proposals will be scored by the Judging Panel formed by representatives of the FBA and BOC.
10. Prizes
1st Prize (1 winner) : Scholarship of MOP 5,000 saving deposit and a certificate
Most Creative Award (1 winner) : Scholarship of MOP 3,000 saving deposit and a certificate
Merit Prizes (3 winners) : Scholarship of MOP 2,000 saving deposit and a certificate each
In addition, a BOC e-Wallet Card and Commemorative Stamp Set, a set of UM-FBA souvenir will also be rewarded to the first 50 entrants who have submitted all required documents.
11. Rules
11.1 The copyright of all proposals shall remain the property of the organizers for free. The organizers reserve the right to modify/publish/make use of the designs in any purposes.
11.2 If any entrant is found to use any unfair or illegal means to compete that affect the fairness of the contest, he/she will be disqualified.
11.3 All proposals will not be returned.
11.4 By submitting your proposal, all entrants shall deem to accept the rules and result of this contest.
12. Disclaimer
12.1 The organizers reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest and/or disqualify any entrant at its sole discretion.
12.2 Failure to comply with stated rules could result in disqualification; entrants will not be informed of such consequence.
