Abstract
Patrimónios (Heritages), the nickname of the UNESCO Chair in Intercultural Dialogue in Heritages of Portuguese Influence, is a research, training, and cooperation for development project launched in 2019 by the University of Coimbra that counts on a network of partners, which now includes the University of Macau. To celebrate the formal signing of this partnership, in this lecture, I will present an overview of our theoretical, ethical, and political positioning within the context of cultural heritage studies and UNESCO-fostered policies.
