The Responsible Gambling 2014, whose theme was ‘Help Others Help Yourself’, has closed. The activity aimed to raise Macao residents’ awareness of problem gambling. The event was co-organised by the Social Welfare Bureau, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, and the University of Macau’s (UM) Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming.
The first Responsible Gambling was held in 2009. Over the years it has received support from the Macao SAR government, the gaming industry, social service organisations, and educational institutions.
