Dubai, February 14, 2024 –The University of Macau (UM), in collaboration with the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM) and the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), proudly announces the hosting of the Global Hospitality and Leisure Summit (GHLS) 2024. Scheduled as an online event on March 5th 2024, this influential gathering aims to unite leaders in hospitality and tourism. The summit will delve into the synergistic relationships of megaprojects, Integrated Resorts, and destination diversification in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The summit will provide insights and strategies for creating tourism clusters, addressing social integration, exploring the latest developments in AI and digital transformation projects, and examining the connection between integrated resorts, destination revitalization, and sustainability. Attendees can anticipate immersive experiences through practical workshops and an enlightening technical visit.
GHLS will revolve around four main subthemes:
- Megaprojects and mass tourism
- Integrated resorts and gaming
- Tourism diversification
- Hospitality in the age of AI
GHLS invites the participation of professionals, researchers, government officials, university faculty, as well as master’s and PhD students from diverse, interconnected disciplines, fostering the exchange of experiences, ideas, and research findings.
