Five representatives from PricewaterhouseCoopers China Holding Limited (PwC) visited the Faculty of Business Administration on Wed, 12/10/2022. The talk aims to introduce the practice in the technical service industry and to support graduating students seeking career opportunities in top business firms. Mr. Alex Leong, the manager of Cybersecurity & Privacy of PwC gave a talk on aspects of Regulatory Technology (Regtech) to Year 4 students of the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics (BIDA) programme. Regtech refers to regulatory management processes within the financial industry through technology. PwC’s shared its efforts in using Regtech to address inefficiency and ineffectiveness in regulatory reporting processes. The collaboration between PwC and BIDA about the students’ final year projects in Regtech development was discussed. PwC representatives introduced the Graduation Programme and Winter Internship opportunities to our students. Over 70 Year 4 BIDA students attended the talk. Students commented that the talk helped them learn more about up-to-date business technologies and the recruitment information of top business firms before graduation.
