On December 2, 2024, the Joint-University Accounting Research and Education Symposium, co-organized by the Department of Accounting and Information Management of the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Macau and the Department of Accountancy at City University of Hong Kong, was successfully held at the University of Macau’s Faculty of Business Administration.
The symposium focused on the exchange of accounting research papers, blended-mode teaching, accounting certification, and postgraduate programs. The event facilitated in-depth discussions and knowledge sharing among participants.
Approximately 60 faculty members from the relevant departments of both universities attended the symposium, contributing to a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere.
The symposium was hosted by Prof. Morris Ming LIU, Head of Department of AIM, FBA at University of Macau
Closing remark was given by Prof. Yangyang CHEN, Head of Department of Accountancy at City University of Hong Kong
