On November 26, 2024, FBA Seminar Series: “Tourism Demand Forecasting: Development and New Trends” Prof. Chenguang WU was hosted by Assistant Professor Xing LIU from the Department of Integrated Resorts and Tourism Management and delivered by Professor Chenguang WU from School of Business of Sun Yat-Sen University.
In the seminar, Professor Chenguang WU introduced the current developments and future trends in the field of tourism demand forecasting. She reviewed the evolution of tourism demand forecasting, sharing interesting stories along the way, and discussed key issues and the latest advancements in this research area. Building on this foundation, Professor Wu also explained the application of big data and other technological methods, engaging in a friendly exchange with faculty and students during the Q&A session.
