On April 25, 2025, FBA Seminar Series: “Sustainable rural tourism development: Perspectives from an institutional logic” by Prof. Maoying WU was hosted by Prof. Yuansi HOU from the Department of Integrated Resorts and Tourism Management and delivered by Prof. Maoying WU from School of Management, Zhejiang University.
Prof. Maoying WU delved deep into the diverse paths through which heritage tourism promotes the social sustainable development of tourist destinations. In the seminar, Prof. Maoying WU meticulously analyzed the specific paths and driving mechanisms through which various stakeholders participate in the development and governance of rural tourism. This not only provides theoretical support for the sustainable development of heritage and rural tourism but also offers guidance for practical exploration.
