The University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) successfully held FBA Seminar Series 023 on 7 December 2022. The FBA Seminar Series 023: “Human and Robotics Copresence and Coproduction in The Contemporary Service Encounter” was hosted by Prof. Yuansi HOU, Associate Professor of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management of FBA and by Prof. Laurie Wu, Associate Professor from Temple University was invited to deliver the seminar and shared the future of technology-centered innovations happening at the contemporary service encounter and to discuss how innovation and heritage can be fused in the curation of excellent service experiences.
Prof. Wu patiently responded to the students’ inquiries after the presentation. The students’ comprehension was boosted by her profound insights into the topic of copresence and coproduction between humans and robots. Through this lecture, Prof. Wu explored the the cutting-edge trends in modern hospitality services with the students. While stimulating their minds, it also gave them more opportunities to investigate the tourist sector of technology innovation.
