On March 20, 2025, FBA Seminar Series: “Conflict Management in Sharing Economy” by Prof. Shun YE was hosted by Prof. Soey LEI from the Department of Integrated Resorts and Tourism Management and delivered by Prof. Shun YE from Zhejiang University.
Prof. Shun YE’s lecture delved deeply into the complex conflict patterns triggered by the sharing economy and corresponding management strategies. The research indicates that the sharing economy, through its platform-based operations, disrupts traditional binary opposition and gives rise to novel contradictions such as “family-work-entrepreneurship” role conflicts and “individual-platform-consumer” service conflicts, thereby posing challenges to traditional conflict management theories.
