“Hong Kong Disneyland 10K Weekend 2024” was held on November 3, attracting nearly 20,000 participants worldwide. Prof. Glenn James MCCARTNEY, Associate Dean (Curriculum & Teaching) of Faculty of Business Administration and Associate Professor of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management, was invited to attend the event as an “Academic Runner” of Disneyland.
The “Hong Kong Disneyland Leadership 3K” is one of the activities of this fantastic event, which attracted many corporate partners and non-profit organizations to participate. Prof. Glenn James MCCARTNEY finished in third place amidst the fun in the resort. A nice reception was set up at the finish line to provide a platform for the participants to exchange ideas and interact with each other. Prof. Glenn James MCCARTNEY also took the opportunity to have an in-depth conversation with several people from Hong Kong’s finance, education and tourism sectors to explore future cooperation and development opportunities.
During the trophy presentation, Mr. Michael Moriarty, Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, together with iconic characters such as Iron Man and Captain Marvel, gave the sincere blessings to Prof. Glenn James MCCARTNEY and the other awardees. The whole scene was filled with joy and surprise.
