Recently, Prof. Glenn James MCCARTNEY, Associate Dean (Curriculum & Teaching) of Faculty of Business Administration and Associate Professor of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management, led the students of the Global Issues in Resort and Gaming Management class for an in-depth study tour to The Londoner Macao, providing them with valuable on-site learning and practice opportunities.

Ms. Dan Li, Director of Public Relations & Media Partnerships at Sands China, and members of her team assisted in arranging the visit and accompanied them throughout the tour. Under the guidance of Ms. Dan Li, the students were guided through the core areas of The Londoner Macao, including its iconic Londoner Arena, the backstage area and the VIP lounge. The tour opened the doors of these normally inaccessible venues to the students, allowing them to get a closer look at the actual operation and management details of the resort’s venues.

During the visit, Ms. Li Dan and members of the PR team introduced to the students in detail the resort’s design concepts, operation strategies, service features and industry development trends. At the end of the visit, the students showed great interest in career prospects and industry development, and they answered their questions patiently and meticulously to help students better plan their future careers.
