In order to strengthen the understanding of business environment and the operation of business in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), a study trip in Hengqin was organized by the Centre For Tourism and Integrated Resort Studies (CTIRS) on November 27. Prof. Amy SO, the Director of CTIRS, and Prof. Soey LEI, Assistant Professor in Integrated Resort and Tourism Management, led 20 students from FBA to visit the targeted companies.
The study trip included site visits and briefings by staff of the companies concerned. This trip was an extraordinary experience for students to learn more about the recent GBA development particularly in the hospitality sector, through site visits, briefings by staff as well as engaging with the staff or management team of the companies visited. Most of the students are highly satisfied with their experience and what they learnt.
