From October 26 to 27, The Tourism Tribune-China Tourism Research Annual Conference 2024 was successfully held in Xiamen. The conference attracted tourism experts and scholars from all over the country to explore the latest development and research frontiers of the tourism industry, and faculty and students from the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management also actively participated in this academic event.
Under the leadership and guidance of Prof. Ting JIANG from University of Jinan and Prof. Li MIAO, Head of the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management, graduate students Ruishu ZHANG and Meiting GU, as well as doctoral student Jingjing HU, shared their forward-looking conceptual framework of new-quality tourism, which brought profound insights and reflections to the participants. Meanwhile, Associate Professor Prof. Yuansi HOU, together with other professors from other universities, also analyzed the impact of environmental noise on virtual museum visitors’ experience. Finally, Prof. Li MIAO was invited to present the awards to the Outstanding Conference Papers winners in the conference’s Award Presentation Session.
