On October 16, Year 3 students of the Department of Integrated Resorts and Tourism Management visited the Hotel Central, Macau. The event was a visit to the Accommodation, Facilities and Security Management course. The Hotel Central team showed the students rooms with different design themes of Macau’s different eras, and explained the process of revitalizing the Hotel Central and the design features.
This event allows students to experience hotel design with a nostalgic theme, understand the history and evolution of Macau through the unique design of the hotel, and learn how to provide guests with a unique cultural accommodation experience through architecture, decoration and design details. The Hotel Central also provides students with a case study of hotel revitalization and encourages them to think about how to diversify Macau’s tourism industry.
