On August 15, the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management of the FBA of the University of Macau welcomed the new undergraduate students of the class of 2024. They gathered from all over the world at the University of Macau campus, ready to start a new chapter in their lives.
Professor Li MIAO, the Head of the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management, welcomed the new students in her speech and briefly introduced the overall situation of the department. Subsequently, Associate Professor Yuansi HOU and Assistant Professor Soey Lei introduced the basic rules and regulations of the university, the department’s teaching plan, and various extracurricular activities for the students.
Following this, the students visited the faculty’s teaching laboratories to learn about the hardware facilities and their applications in teaching and research.
Finally, many faculty members from the department engaged in friendly exchanges with the new students, answering their questions and helping them gain a deeper understanding of the bachelor’s degree program in Integrated Resort and Tourism Management. The event was filled with a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
