The University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) recently held a seminar on international finance as part of the FBA Distinguished Seminar Series 2014. International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Resident Representative in China Murtaza Syed, IMF Senior Economist Sun Tao, and IMF Research Officer Alla Myrvoda were the keynote speakers. The seminar attracted many UM faculty members, students, and industry practitioners.
IMF is an organisation of 188 countries, working to promote exchange rate stability, facilitate the balanced growth of international trade, and provide resources to help members in balance of payments difficulties.
