Abstract
In this study, we explore the possibility of using generative AI as a new methodology to study entrepreneurial storytelling. Using finetuning technique and a dataset from Shark Tank, we studied the televised pitch competition that we finetuned to achieve the qualities of winning pitches. Using computational techniques and in-depth interviews, we probed deeper to see patterns in our data, and found several characteristics of the finetuning process. The study concludes with a reflection on what this study means to entrepreneurship storytelling scholarship and for practice.
