Seminar Overview:
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is an organization of 188 countries, working to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world. This year, the IMF will be conducting its first Article IV consultation discussions with Macao SAR since the handover to Mainland China in 1999. The IMF team conducting these discussions will present seminar on International Finance. The speakers and their presentation titles are as follows:
Mr. Murtaza Syed, Resident Representative in China- “Economic Outlook for Asia and Macao SAR”
Mr. Sun Tao, Senior Economist- “How will Fed tapering affect Asia and Macao SAR”
