The Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management (DRTM) is expanding its internship partner networks. In March, 2022, nine companies from Macau as well as cities in the Mainland China such as Guangdong and Hangzhou delivered internship talks to the DRTM students. The hybrid internship talks allow the students a better understanding of the companies’ background and available positions. Through the subsequent practice of internship, students are expected to gain valuable working experience, establish professional networks, and develop career options.
Internship is part of the degree requirements for all undergraduate and MS students majoring in international integrated resort management. The goal of the internship programme is to provide opportunities for students to practice knowledge and management skills in an integrated resort/hospitality/tourism related working environment so as to better prepare them for careers in such fields after graduation.
